Hey!

I've started this blog sat on my balcony, sipping an 85p Berry Mojito from Aldi. (So Yum) If you've read any of my other blogs, you'll know I'm constantly buying new things - week eight of furlough, so no wonder I'm completely bored out my mind. Not to mention I've tried every cocktail known to man.

The first couple of weeks I splurged on skin-care, which I absolutely love. I have a blog on some of the best vegan & cruelty-free skincare items here in case you haven't had a look! This week it has been a range of make-up to jewellery to fans. Here are 10 things I'm absolutely loving right now.

1 - Beauty Power Lashes

Now, you're probably thinking - why on earth do you need false eyelashes? Nowhere is open? Every great gal always has a pair of lashes ready, just in case! These have been amazing to wear for my indoor date nights with my boyfriend. There's something about dressing up that makes me feel so much better, something as simple as putting on falsies can really make my day, and get me out of the quarantine mood.

These beauties are £6.99 You can also use my code RACHAELJ15 for an extra discount once you've clicked through the link.

This is a new brand in the UK, who also has the most beautiful eyeshadow pallets that I cannot wait to try out!

2 - Fenty Beauty PRO FILT'R Soft Matte Longwear Foundation

So, I've just finished my first bottle and now I'm onto the second. I can't rave about this foundation enough. I'm super pale and use shade 120. The problem I have with other foundations is they can have an orange or yellow tint to them that doesn't match my skin tone. This foundation is perfect and super smooth.

You know that smoothed out filter you can get on Snapchat? This is the filter I feel like I have on my face after use. For £27 you can't complain, it lasts ages and looks incredible.

3 - Mini Tower Fan

This has been a game-changer for me! I usually use a normal fan, that blows dust into my nose and gives me a sore throat. Yeah I'm nice and cool, but I end up feeling really ill. I bought this fan from Amazon and everything has changed, the room is super cool, and I can keep it on all night (there's even a night mode button) without feeling really sick in the morning.

I would definitely invest in one of these fans, this one is £29 - such great value for the price!

4 - Earrings

These earrings have brought me so much joy already, and I've only worn them twice! Whilst being in quarantine I realised I don't really pay much attention to jewellery. I've had my ears pierced since I was 5 years old (so nearly 2 decades) and I wear earrings once in a blue moon.

I found these online in the colour champagne and thought it was perfect to match with the prosecco/champagne toner I use on my hair. (I have to colour coordinate I can't help it). As soon as they arrived I was in love. You can get these earrings from oneposh at $17.99, but if you use my code RACHAEL30 they're $12.60.

5 - Icey Beauty Power Up Lipstick

I have worn this lipstick all week, I am in love with it. It's one of those gorgeous colours you can wear daily or on a night out. It's a really gorgeous pinky nude that compliments all skin tones. It also lasts all day! I wore it yesterday and didn't need to reapply it once - so it's a must!

At the minute you can get it for £9.99 and they come in a range of gorgeous colours! I spoke about Beauty Power in the first section of this blog, and can't rave about them enough. They have some great deals and discounts on too, I have a discount code RACHAELJ15 if you'd like to use it, you can use it on all of their products online!

6 - PINK CANDY FLOSS DIAMOND LACED BRUSH SET

I've recently just purchased a large brush set, but had to buy some more as soon as I saw these online. They're absolutely gorgeous, not to mention - PINK.

I think these are great if you're looking for a travel brush set, they come in the most gorgeous glittery bag and you can definitely fit them in a normal handbag, weekend bag or suitcase. You can get these for £10.99, they also come in a couple of different colours and styles.

7 - #BEAUTYBOSS Glow Drops 2.0

If you love the ICONIC London liquid highlight then you will love this! Because of how pale I am, I usually shy away from darker highlight liquids, but on this occasion, I decided to go slightly darker and chose number 4 - Angel glow compared to my usual shade number 1 - Satin Goddess.

I feel like this makes my skin look slightly more bronzed and I love it, I'm always pestering my boyfriend when we go out. 'Is the sun making my highlight pop??'

He always says yes, so it looks like we're in for a winner with this one! There are lots of shades available and they're on for £10.00 each.

8 - Quartz Watch

Now, I never usually like watches, I think the last time I wore a watch was when I was about 10 years old and it was a cute little barbie one. When I saw this watch on oneposh, I instantly fell in love with it. I think it's a really classy watch that goes with pretty much anything, and would look great going out or even going to work.

There are different styles available, this one is currently $19.99 but with discount RACHAEL30 you can get it for $14.00.

9 - Brush holder & Organiser

I am I love with this brush set organiser. I bought it on Amazon for £9.99 and it looks so pretty on my make-up table. I bought it with a pink makeup organiser, and inside the holder is filled with pink brushes - so it's safe to say I've gone for a pink theme!

10 - Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter

Last but not least, this amazing highlighter. I can't rave about it enough. I have mine in the shade trophy wife, and the gold makes me feel extra AF. There are a few more shades I want to try, one being WATTABRAT. I'm hoping I'll be able to purchase that soon to review!

These highlighters are a bit pricey at £28, but they do last ages. One of the great things about it too is that the colour and glitter never fades. Usually, once the top layer is taken off, most highlights fade. This stays shiny and gorgeous all the way down to the bottom.

So there we have it, my top 10 beauty, jewellery and essential must-haves of this week.
